![]() | Vicki Waterman, Flute Vicki Waterman has been playing flute professionally for over 10 years. She received her Bachelors Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and her Masters in Flute Performance from Boston University. Her musical interests include classical, rock, jazz as well as celtic music. She has traveled extensively in a classical trio and several rock bands throughout the U.S. and Spain. ![]() | Jennifer Midkiff, Harp Jennifer Midkiff (harp, vocals) holds a Bachelor's Degree in music education from Luther College and a Master's of Music in choral conducting from Butler University, and has toured both nationally and internationally with the Luther College Nordic Choir (Weston Noble conducting). She serves as choir director for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and directs her church choir as well. Jennifer also plays harp professionally and is a member of the local Celtic-influenced folk group Wild Mercy (www.wildmercy.com). | Julane Lund, Violin Julane Lund has performed in Eastern and Western Europe, Canada, and the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan. Besides the conventional violin she also plays the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle (which is highly ornamented and has 4-5 extra strings). She has a master’s degree in Norwegian traditional fiddling from Telemark University College, in Norway, as well as additional music degrees from T.U.C. in Norway, and Ball State University, in ndiana. Before her formal schooling Julane learned about fiddling from her Norwegian grandfather, Gehart Lund, as well as from other respected Norwegian and American fiddlers. Besides her solo work Julane has performed with notable ensembles. In Norway she was a member of the Norwegian folk band, Totak, in Russia she performed with the Bashkirian Folk Instrument Philharmonic, and in Quebec she joined with the Quebecois folk band, Cordaphone. Locally she has played in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis as well as performing in ensembles consisting of members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. In 2006 Julane won the Traditional Arts Indiana State Fiddling Contest at the Indiana State Fair, and she has since judged the contest.
